Position Title : Project Officer

Location : Gurgaon, Haryana

Duration of Position : 7 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

Brief on the Organization:

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health. PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders. Project Brief:

Swasth Uttar Purv- Health Technology Enabled Quality Improvement Intervention for NCD Care Delivery in Mizoram - The overarching aim of this initiative is to establish capacity and offer affordable, evidence-based, preventive, promotive and therapeutic care for hypertension and diabetes from the primary care facilities of Mizoram.

Major components of this proejct are: Training of State Medical Officers; Training of Nurse Care-Coordinators for NCD clinics; Implementing mPower Heart modelled (mHealth) intervention at the NCD clinics as part of NPCDCS for improving access and quality of hypertension/diabetes care and Establishing big data analytic capabilities at the state level for informed decision-making in program management.


  • Manage all communication between project implementing partners and ensure timely meetings when required.
  • Monitoring, supervision and trouble shooting of mPower Heart (mHealth) software, tablets and other equipment.
  • Regularly check quality of data generated from the NCD clinics.
  • Assist in preparation project related documents/field manuals.
  • Generate and share progress report of the project.
  • Help the Project team with all related tasks.
  • Liaise with state authorities to ensure that the project activities are conducted smoothly.


  • Graduate in Science/Public Health/Social Science/nutrition/nursing/Commerce/management.


  • Masters degree in public health/social work/management.
  • Basic skills in field data collection and supervision.
  • Basic Computer skills including use of Microsoft office.


  • 1-2 years of experience in data collection, supervision and coordination related to health.

Annual Salary (CTC) will be based on the available skills and fitment of the incumbent as per the selection process.
