Donate Online!

Donors can contribute online by clicking Donate Now button and choose from options to support PHFI i.e. donating to IIPH Development Fund, PHFI Research Fund or PHFI Scholarship Fund.

Significant Giving

Donors can choose to partner with PHFI by pledging significant commitments of INR 50 Lakhs towards named assets/facility at IIPH Gandhinagar campus (e.g. classrooms, seminar halls, and labs); named centres for research/program initiatives; named Scholarship Funds and several other options.Significant giving involves a multiple year partnership with options to name and tax advantages.

CSR Partnerships

Partner with PHFI for your Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. PHFI has worked with several corporates on public health initiatives in areas of preventive healthcare and health systems strengthening which are covered under Schedule VII of the CSR Section 135 of the Companies Act. PHFI with its pool of 600 strong pool of technical staff offers expertise in program design, implementation and evaluation.Partnering for research in public health is a listed area under CSR and allows for up to 175% weighted tax deduction. * Tax benefits

PHFI is recognised by Central Government as an approved organization under Section 35 (1) (ii) and section 80Gof Income Tax Act. This makes contributions towards research eligible for 175%/100% weighted deduction. For all other contributions (e.g. support for campus building or scholarship) contributors can avail 50% deduction under section 80G

  • 175% weighted deduction allows donors to avail a a tax benefit of INR 59,500 for every INR 1 Lakh of contribution, assuming marginal tax rate of 34%
  • Similarly 100% deduction under Section 80GGA (2) allows for INR 30,000 for every 1 Lakh, assuming marginal tax rate of 30%.
