Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is organizing a two-week course for Promoting Adolescent Health in Low and Middle Income Countries, during May 13 - 24, 2013. Course ObjectiveThe course aims to equip participants with the knowledge, conceptual frameworks and tools necessary to strengthen and develop their capacity for managing health sector policies and programmes for adolescent health and development. Who should attend?The course has been designed for health care service providers working at different levels (Central, State and district level officials), working in the areas of health and development in government sectors, public sectors, Non Government Organizations (NGOs), Community Based Organizations (CBOs), public private cooperation, academic institutes and other relevant sectors. Eligibility CriteriaAcceptance on the course will be based on a completed application form submitted to the Public Health Foundation of India. Applicants should have a good command of English, as all teaching will be in English. Course fee A course fee of INR 40,000. This fee covers participation in the course and the course materials. This will be exclusive of travel cost, accommodation and meals.
