The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, the Public Health Foundation of India and partnering institutions launched a unique inter-institutional partnership in public health training programmes between the All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health- Kolkata the National Institute for Health and Family Welfare- New Delhi, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences- Sewagram and the Indian Institute of Public Health – Gandhinagar (IIPH-G). The programme addresses PHFI’s urgent need for developing public health management skills to handle complex public health challenges facing the country. The course is designed for in-service candidates working at state and local governments and applicants with an MBBS and involvement in public health activities. |
