Research Fellow
Susanna is a B.Sc. graduate in Applied Mathematics from Brown University in the US. After graduation, she spent two years as a Post-Bachelor Fellow at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) in Seattle, Washington. While at IHME, Susanna developed methods to improve the quality of cause-of-death data for use in the Global Burden of Disease Study. At PHFI, she is working on the Social Determinants of Health project, specifically in analyzing the relationship between state expenditure on social services and child mortality. She plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in statistics or biostatistics in the future
