Assistant Program Coordinator
Dr. Pathan completed his Bachelors in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery from Swami Vivekanand Homeopathic Medical College, Bhavnagar. He received his Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management from Indian Institute of Public Health – Delhi (IIPHD). During his tenure at IIPHD he worked as field coordinator for a PPP in Healthcare project supported by DFID at FMS- Delhi University South Campus. He also worked for the Health Communication and Promotion Division of PHFI. He completed a three month internship at the Training Division of PHFI where his area of work focused on 'Scope and Need-Assessment of Phlebotomy Course in India’. He is also trained in Tobacco control for health Professionals under PHFI and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the University of Southern California. In his current position as Assistant Program Coordinator he is responsible for management and coordination of all components of the Evidence Based Diabetes Management training program which is modeled on the framework of an interdisciplinary multi-partner collaboration across the country. His integral role is to be an associate point person for Program Secretariat undertaking all Program management activities.
