Project Coordinator – ANCHUL project


gursimranalaghGursimran Alagh is a Post Graduate in Health and Hospital Management with specialisation in Health Management from the International Institute of Health Management Research, New Delhi. She is a gold medalist in Health management. She holds a bachelor degree in Food and Nutrition from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University.
She is working as a Project Coordinator with Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi       (IIPH-D). She is involved in the overall coordination of the implementation of the project in the urban slums of Delhi.

In the past, she was involved in the analysis of ICDS services from the providers and beneficiaries perspective at Nutrition Foundation of India. While working there she was involved in various nutritional surveys, quality control of anthropometric and haemoglobin estimations and training sessions of the grassroot health functionaries.

Prior to joining IIPH-D, she has worked with Deepak Foundation as a Public Health Specialist on various projects like Competency assessment of ASHAs in the tribal districts of Vadodara district, Development of ASHA training modules, Anemia control project, Strengthening of Village Health and Sanitation committees in the different stages of data collection, analysis, planning, monitoring and report writing.
