Senior Lecturer
A past member of the Royal Society of Public Health he is a Global Health specialist with a keen interest in clinical medicine.research Professionally he has complementary work experience in the fields of public health and clinical medicine, in both rural and urban health care settings. His masters dissertation on relative inequalities was accepted for presentation at the acclaimed Association of Schools of Public Health In the European region –European Public Health conference at Coppenhagen. (2011) He has worked as a Consultant in the Reproductive Child Health –II project at, National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Munirka. As a medical doctor, he has worked as a resident doctor in the Department of Cardiology at the prestigious GB Pant hospital New Delhi. At GB pant, besides patient management he was also working as a GCP trained Sub Investigator for a US F.D.A approved phase three clinical drug trial exploring treatment modalities for Pulmonary Hypertension Previously, he has also worked at Delhi’s largest Regional Blood Transfusion Centre at GTB hospital. Areas of Interest: Global Health, Social Determinants of Health, Epidemiology of Non Communicable diseases, Health Inequalities, Impact of Relative Inequalities on health.
